Hoosic Valley notched a victory over Maple Hill 44-27 in a hard fought Capital Region basketball tug-of-war.

Hoosic Valley held a slight 3-point advantage at the beginning of the second quarter. The Indians raced ahead after two quarters 24-11. Hoosic Valley played well in the second frame turning a 3-point first quarter lead into a 13-point halftime edge.

Hoosic Valley managed to be ahead at every quarter buzzer by margins of 3, 13, 16, & 17.

S. Dickinson paced Hoosic Valley with 15 points. A. Rifenburg powered in 14 points. R. Serafin poured in 5 points. A. Jensen scored 5 points.
The Indians knocked down 4 buckets from jimmer range.

Natasha Strock led Maple Hill with 11 points. Stacia Coyne poured in 8 points. Abby Utter tallied 3 points.
