North Warren won an instant classic versus Fort Edward 65-59 in a game that most local high school basketball followers expected to come down to the last whistle. Reece Bradley led the winners with 20 points.

The teams needed more time to achieve their desired result as the tilt went to overtime where The Cougars outscored Fort Edward 9-3. That burst enabled them to celebrate the outcome.

Fort Edward came up with a final stanza push as they bested the Cougars 20-18 to force the extra session.
North Warren held a slight 2-point advantage going into the final frame. This duel was headed towards an epic finish through the third period.

Sparked by a great team effort in the second half the Cougars outscored Fort Edward 41-30 in the final two frames and (OT). That was contradictory to the first half when Fort Edward built a 29-24 lead at the midway point.

Fort Edward had great energy right from the tip off and played excellent team basketball on their way to a significant first quarter lead 18-12.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Fort Edward gaining the upper hand.

North Warren made a charge out of the break, after they trailed at the half, which helped them capture the lead 38-36 going into the fourth period.

The Cougars placed three players in double figure scoring. Reece Bradley paced the Cougars with 20 points. Tanner Dunkley registered 15 points. Ryan Miller finished with 10 points. Jack Buckman dropped 8 points.

Fort Edward had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. James Bombard led Fort Edward with 18 points. Logan Catone contributed 16 points. Ryan Etu had 10 points. Cameron Sullivan accumulated 9 points.
The Flying Forts connected on 7 hoops from deep.
Logan Catone made 3 three-pointers.
Fort Edward shot exquisite from the charity stripe as they made 144.4%, 26 of 18.
