Bishop Maginn tipped New Lebanon 65-53 in an intense Capital Region basketball match up. Bishop Maginn built on their consistent second half play as they led at the end of the third frame and at the final tick of the clock.

Bishop Maginn and New Lebanon were all square after one period of play.
The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half break with Bishop Maginn gaining the upper hand. The Griffins played sound basketball in the second period turning a tied game into a 5-point halftime edge.

Bishop Maginn used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored New Lebanon by 4 points.
