SPORTS STAFF

Gloversville were dominant versus Queensbury 71-42 in a Foothills Council basketball match up. Joseph Rowback and Dante Bouchard combined to score 41 points for the Dragons.

Gloversville used a monster second half as they looked superb in the win.

Gloversville held a slight 1-point advantage heading into the second quarter. The Dragons played solid as a rock in the second quarter turning a 1-point first quarter lead into a 9-point halftime lead. 

Gloversville used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Queensbury by 7 points.

The Dragons were in front at every period ending horn by margins of 1, 9, 16, & 29.

The Dragons had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Joseph Rowback paced Gloversville with 21 points. Dante Bouchard secured 20 points. Anderson Jones collected 14 points.
Gloversville drained 9 hoops from long range.
Dante Bouchard nailed 4 three-pointers. Anderson Jones with 3.

Matthew Chase led Queensbury with 16 points. Bryce Bleibtrey collected 7 points. Sean Collins had 6 points. Shane Rutherford sank 5 points. Nathan Johnson recorded 5 points.
The Spartans splashed 5 baskets from long distance.
