Mayfield squeaked by Northville 62-49 in an intense (518) hoop match up. This final result was anything from a forgone conclusion for the majority of the game. Garrett Delaney led the winners with 18 points. The Panthers relied on their consistent second half play as they led at the end of the third frame and at the last tick of the clock.

Mayfield finished the game in great form as they outscored Northville by 5-points at the pivotal point in the game.

Mayfield and Northville were all square after one period of play. Mayfield then jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 28-17. The Panthers played solid as a rock in the second quarter turning a tied game into a 11-point halftime lead.

Northville put together a comeback attempt in the second half but it was too little too late.

Garrett Delaney paced Mayfield with 18 points. Evan Lehr racked up 12 points. Daniel Leach netted 8 points. Anthony Yuret totaled 8 points. Trevon Gifford accumulated 7 points.
Mayfield drilled 4 trey balls.
The Panthers shot with skillful form at the charity stripe as they produced 66.7%, 10 of 15. 

Northville placed four players in double figure scoring. Nate Reidell led Northville with 14 points. Daniel VanNostrand netted 11 points. Jason Ellsworth scored 11 points. Wyatt Sira sank 11 points.
