Watervliet beat Fonda in the championship game of the Bill Higgins tournament, in Fonda, 39-32 in a battle of two of the top small schools in the area.
The Cannoneers outscored Fonda 22-16 in the second half.
Watervliet was led by tournament MVP Daheem Wilson's 15 points. Riley Wilson paced Fonda with 16.
All-around excellence lands Watervliet's Daheem Wilson tournament Most Valuable Player honors.
