Albany Academy raced out to a 20-6 advantage and went on to beat Mekeel Christian 81-63 in local high school prep action.
The Cadets led 51-34 at the half. Mekeel Christian played well in the second half but they couldn't make up for their early deficit.
Jack Louridas scored 31 points to pace Academy. Cyrus Matia added 16 and Elijah Taylor and Logan Rodriguez 10 points each. Josh Hyman had 9 point.
Nykim Taylor led Mekeel Christian with 19 points, Kingston Daley 12 points.
