Green Tech used a dominant first half to pull away from Catskill for a 74-43 victory. The Eagles avenged an earlier season loss to the Cats.
Green Tech took control of the game after trailing 9-8 early in the opening frame. They finshed the period on a 12-2 run and took a 37-16 lead into halftime. The Eagles continued to apply pressure in the third quarter, extending the margin to 52-24 before closing out the game with a strong fourth quarter to seal the win.
Giovanni Johnson led the way for Green Tech with a game-high 31 points, pouring in baskets in every quarter and igniting the early surge. Qwameik Smith added 21 points, while Carter Clay chipped in eight points.
For Catskill, Tristan Hendy paced the offense with 16 points. Chance Harris added 13 points, and Jack Hulett finished with six.
