Bethlehem outlasted Shaker 55-52 in an uber competitive game played today. This meeting delivered the goods. Kaitlyn Robbins and Ellie Cerf combined to score 36 points for the victors. Bethlehem relied on their unwavering second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the end of the game.
The Eagles held a slim 3-point margin heading into the fourth period.
Bethlehem held a modest 1-point edge at the commencement of quarter two. The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half breather with the game tied 29-29.
The Eagles took the lead coming out of intermission, after a tight game at the half, and snatched the lead 44-41 bearing down on the last quarter.
