Albany won a cliff-hanger versus Niskayuna 50-47 in what turned out to be a enormous test between the lines of Suburban Council sides. This meeting delivered the goods. Shonyae Edmonds and Azera Gates combined to score 41 points for the Falcons.
The Falcons used a fourth quarter surge as they bested the Silver Warriors 10-6 as regulation came to an end. Clutch play down the stretch was the key to the victory.
