Middleburgh seized a down to the wire victory over Sharon Springs 45-38.

The Knights manufactured a great group effort with a late push as they ground out a victory versus Sharon Springs 17-3 by the conclusion of the frame. Clutch play down the stretch was the key to the victory.

Spurned on by a first-class performance in the last half Middleburgh outscored Sharon Springs 23-9 in the final two periods. That was as they flipped the script of the first half when Sharon Springs used excellent synergy to grab a 29-22 lead at the midway point.

The offenses really got it rolling in the opening quarter as they combined for a plethora of shot making skills 32 points. But, Sharon Springs bolted from opening whistle and sprinted out to an ample first quarter lead 20-12.

Both teams struggled to score the ball coming out of the locker room after the half as they combined for merely 12 points.

Troy Cammer was the straw that stirred the drink for Middleburgh with 17 points. Lucas Shaw registered 9 points. JJ Narzymski poured in 8 points. Eric Pickering had 5 points.

Brady Law led Sharon Springs with 12 points. Mike Cashman collected 11 points. Enyart scored 8 points. Perrotti popped in 7 points.
Sharon Springs connected on 4 buckets from beyond the arc.
Mike Cashman made 3 three-pointers.
