Niskayuna won an instant classic versus Shaker 36-32 in what turned out to be a terrific collision of Section 2 basketball sides.
The Silver Warriors produced a last period surge getting the better of the Blue Bison 13-9 as time wound down. They survived this tough encounter.
Offensive and defensive adjustments in the latter part of the game were a key as Niskayuna outscored the Blue Bison 28-17 in the final two frames. That was contradictory to the first half when the Blue Bison built a 15-8 lead at the midway point.

Kathleen Birmingham showed the way for Niskayuna with 13 points. Olivia O'Meally netted 11 points. Jackie Reffelt tallied 8 points.
The Silver Warriors shot with skillful form at the line as they made 66.7%, 14 of 21.
