Scotia edged Hoosick Falls 56-45 in a hard fought Section 2 basketball tug-of-war . Karaline McCarthy spurred on the attack for the Tartans stepping up big-time with 27 points.
Scotia used an impressive first eight minutes and darted in front to gain a generous first quarter lead 18-5. They clamped down on their opponent with a magnificent defensive effort and played with great enthusiasm throughout the frame.
