Penfield took the victory in a workman like manner vs. Niskayuna 63-49. Alexander ignited the offense for the Patriots stepping up big-time with 20 points. The Patriots their desired result depended on their dependable second half play as they led at the end of the third quarter and at the culminating stoppage.
Penfield and Niskayuna were all square after one period of play.
The two squads struggled to grab a foothold as the teams went to the first half breather with Penfield nudging ahead.
Penfield performed well in the second frame turning a tied game into a 4-point halftime advantage. However, Penfield struck while the iron was hot modified their game play after the break and grabbed a 46-32 lead into the fourth quarter.
