After the final stanza came to a close the teams were still tied the tilt went to overtime where Saratoga overtook Burnt Hills 7-6. They survived this tough encounter.
Sparked by a great team effort in the second half Saratoga outscored Burnt Hills 33-26 in the final sixteen minutes and (OT). That was the inverse of the first half when Burnt Hills scurried out to a 27-21 lead at the midway point.
Both teams continued to battle through the third period all square at 36. Saratoga played with purpose in the third quarter and outscored Burnt Hills by 6 points.
The Blue Streaks had a triplet in double figure scoring. Carly Wise led Saratoga with 23 points. Lauren Lafountain added 13 points. Natasha Chudy totaled 11 points.
