Burnt Hills were cut down versus the Jugglers by 7 points 43-36, in the championship game of the 1st Annual Mohonasen Holiday Classic Girls Basketball Tournament. Emma Sehring led the Jugglers with 20 points. The Jugglers relied on their solid second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the final horn.
Utica ND held a modest 2-point edge heading into the fourth quarter. This battle of wills was a war on the floor through the first twenty-four minutes of action. Utica ND finished the game with clutch play as they outscored Burnt Hills by 5-points at the critical stage of the game.
Burnt Hills held a modest 1-point edge at the start of the second quarter.
The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Utica ND gaining the upper hand. The Jugglers played as a complete unit in the second quarter turning a 1-point first quarter deficit into a 5-point halftime edge.
Both teams struggled to score the ball coming out of the locker room after the half as they combined for just 11 points.
