Cohoes outlasted Bishop Gibbons 70-65 in what turned out to be a tremendous encounter of Capital Region basketball clubs. Marquay Tanksley and Devantei Clark combined to score 46 points for the Tigers. Cohoes their desired result depended on their dependable second half play as they led at the end of the third frame and at the concluding stoppage.

Cohoes held a small 1-point lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Bishop Gibbons held a slight 1-point advantage heading into the second quarter.

The coronation of a winner was still unresolved as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Cohoes gaining the upper hand. The Tigers performed well in the second stanza turning a 1-point first quarter deficit into a 2-point halftime upper hand.

Marquay Tanksley sparked the offense for the Tigers with 28 points. Devantei Clark racked up 18 points. Bryce Hancock poured in 9 points.
Cohoes buried 8 hoops from deep.

The Golden Knights placed four in double figure scoring. Esiasyn Starr showed the way for Bishop Gibbons with 21 points. Jaquare Jones collected 15 points. Dequawn Gheen bagged 14 points. Zackarhi Archie knocked down 11 points.
Bishop Gibbons splashed 6 baskets from downtown.
The Golden Knights shot stellar from the free throw line as they attained 69.2%, 9 of 13.
