Ballston Spa tripped up Schenectady 67-42 in Section 2 basketball play. The Scotties were assertive second half as they fired on all cylinders.
Ballston Spa used an impressive first eight minutes and rushed out to an ample first quarter lead 16-10.
Ballston Spa used a determined effort in the third quarter and outscored Schenectady by 14 points.
The Scotties were out in front at every frame closures by separations of 6, 6, 20, & 25.
Ballston Spa had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Olivia Verdile sparked the offense for the Scotties with 17 points. Sophia Lee registered 11 points. Payton Messina collected 11 points. Jess Bowens tallied 8 points.
