Galway slipped past Middleburgh 46-38. The Golden Eagles relied on their unwavering second half play as they led at the end of the third quarter and at the culminating horn.
The end result was still uncertain as the teams went to the first half locker room break with the game tied 21-21.
The Golden Eagles utilized excellent teamworkcoming out of the half, after the game being played to even across the board at the half, and seized the opportunity 33-25 approaching the end of the fourth period.
Casey Clarke was a catalyst for the Golden Eagles with 15 points. Zach Kenyon secured 7 points. Gavin O'Neil poured in 6 points.
Troy Cammer guided Middleburgh with 20 points. Ethan Trombley contributed 8 points.
