SPORTS STAFF

Cambridge took care of business versus Hoosick Falls 48-23 in Wasaren League play.

Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for only 9 points.

Cambridge played solid as a rock in the second frame turning a 5-point first quarter lead into a 9-point halftime edge.

The Indians played with purpose in the third quarter and outscored Hoosick Falls by 17 points.

Cambridge were on top at every quarter stoppage by advantages of 5, 9, 26, & 25.

Schuylar Nolan was the straw that stirred the drink for the Indians with 15 points. Nicole LaFountain racked up 10 points. Samantha Crandall knocked down 6 points. Alexis Austin bagged 6 points.

Mackenna Roberson showed the way for the Panthers with 8 points. Tatum Hickey netted 6 points. Gwyn Vincent totaled 3 points.
