Loudonville Christian outlasted Bolton 47-44 in one of the top games of the day in Section 2 basketball. Loudonville Christian relied on their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the third period and at the last tick of the clock.
The LCS Eagles held a slight 2-point advantage at the start of the fourth quarter. This duel kept fans on the edge of their seats through the third period.
The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half intermission with Bolton gaining the upper hand. The Bolton Eagles played solid as a rock in the second period turning a 5-point first quarter deficit into a 3-point halftime bulge.
The LCS Eagles exhibited great effort out of the break, after they trailed at the half, and grabbed an advantage of 35-33 going into the final frame.
Loudonville Christian had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Victoria Ralston led the LCS Eagles with 14 points. Skyler Househoulder powered in 13 points. Genny Swanswon added 12 points. Abbey Woods totaled 6 points.
The LCS Eagles buried 4 baskets from long distance.
Baker paced the Bolton Eagles with 14 points. Pfau collected 11 points. VanAuken tallied 9 points.
