Albany knocked off Shenendehowa 63-54 in a long awaited tilt in the area.

Albany were strong out of the gate and rushed out to a hefty first quarter lead 15-9.

The Falcons asserted their dominance and led at all period closing whistle by leads of 6, 8, 10, & 9.

Iyana Weeden was a catalyst for the Falcons with 17 points. Shonyae Edmonds splashed in 9 points. Nevaeh House finished with 8 points. Jordan Johnson scored 8 points. Azera Gates popped in 8 points.
Albany used expert marksmanship to make 5 baskets from downtown.

Bri Carey showed the way for Shenendehowa with 18 points. Kaleigh Montanez added 12 points. Abby Stuart tallied 9 points. Miranda Demura finished with 6 points.
The Plainsmen connected on 12 hoops from behind the arc.
Kaleigh Montanez made 4 three-pointers. Bri Carey added 4. Abby Stuart with 3.
Shenendehowa shot with great fundamentals from the stripe as they nailed 72.7%, 8 of 11.
