Hoosic Valley seized a down to the wire victory over Hoosick Falls 63-57 in a premier match up in the area. Isaiah Eckler was a walking bucket for the group that came out on top leading the way with 21 points.
Hoosic Valley bolted from opening whistle and darted in front to gain a significant first quarter lead 18-12.
The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half intermission with Hoosic Valley out in front.
The Indians were out in front at all frame finishes by separations of 6, 2, 5, & 6.
Hoosic Valley placed four in double figure scoring. Isaiah Eckler led the Indians with 21 points. Chris Jones contributed 12 points. Logan Reilly tallied 11 points. Tyler Eddy sank 10 points. Gabe Coffin powered in 7 points.
