Burnt Hills won in a tight fit over Niskayuna 54-41 in a top notch Section 2 basketball clash. Grace O'Connor led the group that came out on top with 20 points. 

Burnt Hills success was built on their dependable second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the game ending flip of the hourglass.

The Silver Warriors were strong out of the gate and sprinted out to a generous first quarter lead 16-9. Yet, Burnt Hills had a resurgence in the second quarter and outscored Niskayuna by 15 points.

The Spartans played solid as a rock in the second frame turning a 7-point first quarter deficit into a 8-point halftime bulge.

Burnt Hills had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Grace O'Connor helped the cause for Burnt Hills with 20 points. MK Lescault scored 13 points. Ella Blesi collected 10 points.
Burnt Hills drilled 6 hoops from deep.
Grace O'Connor nailed 4 three-pointers.

Olivia O'Meally led Niskayuna with 10 points. Jackie Reffelt added 10 points. Kathleen Birmingham scored 7 points. Hawa Equiza Gasco notched 5 points. Ava Roemer racked up 5 points.
Niskayuna knocked down 5 baskets from behind the three point line.
