Fonda narrowly held off Broadalbin Perth 57-46 in a non-league match up. Brady Whipple guided the Braves with 21 points.
Fonda bolted from opening whistle and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 15-2. They put together an imposing effort guarding the hoop and played with great enthusiasm throughout the frame. Yet, Broadalbin Perth recovered in the second quarter and outscored Fonda by 8 points.
The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Fonda nudging ahead.
Fonda played with purpose in the third quarter and outscored Broadalbin Perth by 7 points.
The Braves managed to be ahead at all frame closures by margins of 13, 5, 12, & 11.
