Hoosick Falls prevailed over Greenwich 55-38 in a high energy Wasaren League hoop battle. The final margin wasn't a true indication of the what happened for most of the game. L. Thayne paced the victors with 26 points. Hoosick Falls relied on their steady second half play as they led at the end of the the third period and at the last whistle.
Greenwich held a small 1-point lead going into the second frame.
The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Hoosick Falls nudging ahead.
The Panthers played well in the second quarter turning a 1-point first quarter deficit into a 2-point halftime edge.
However, Hoosick Falls took advantage of a strong third quarter and led 39-26 headed to the fourth quarter.
