Albany Academy beat Mohonasen 49-27 to clinch their first ever Colonial Council title. Saige Randolph put forth a strong offensive game for the victors with 25 points, including her 1000th career point.
Albany Academy dominated the first half and led 26-9.
The Bears played excellent in the second frame turning a 5-point first quarter lead into a 17-point halftime advantage.
Albany Academy played with purpose in the third quarter and outscored Mohonasen by 5 points.
The Bears asserted their dominance and led at every quarter stoppage by margins of 5, 17, 22, & 22.
Saige Randolph led Albany Academy with 25 points. Bella Vincent collected 11 points.
Isabella Petrocci put forth a strong offensive game for Mohonasen with 16 points. Jillian Collins powered in 5 points. Isabella Clute finished with 3 points. Payton Whipple bagged 3 points.
