Tamarac suffered defeat to Greenwich by 12 points, 48-36, in the Wasaren League Playoff Championship. Brooke Kuzmich was a serious problem on the offensive end for the Witches going off for 24 points. The Witches built upon their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the culminating flip of the hourglass.
This is Greewich's second straight title and their 33rd straigth win over Wasaren League opponents.
The Witches secured the win with marvelous execution as they went past Tamarac by 5-points at the cruicial moment of the contest.
Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for merely 11 points.
Tamarac held a modest 1-point edge at the start of the second quarter.
Greenwich performed well in the second quarter turning a 1-point first quarter deficit into a 6-point halftime upper hand.
