Averill Park narrowly held off Bethlehem 58-50, to gain the season sweep over Bethlehem, in what turned out to be a tremendous test between the lines of Section 2 basketball clubs. Averill Park favorable outcome hinged on their dependable second half play as they led at the end of the third quarter and at the game ending whistle.

Averill Park and Bethlehem were all square after one period of play.

The Warriors played solid as a rock in the second frame turning a tied game into a 6-point halftime upper hand.

Averill Park maximized their play in the third quarter and outscored Bethlehem by 5 points.

Averill Park had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Taylor Holohan took control of the offense for Averill Park with 17 points. Tatiana Tune registered 15 points. Kayleigh Ahern finished with 10 points. Bailee Lange totaled 7 points.
Averill Park used expert marksmanship to make 5 hoops from behind the arc.
Kayleigh Ahern nailed 3 three-pointers.

Kaitlyn Robbins guided the Eagles with 18 points. Makaya McCann poured in 11 points. Anna Walston bagged 9 points. Caroline Davis sank 8 points.
