Albany Academy defeated Cohoes 74-26 in a Class B sectional match up. The top seeded Bears now host #8 Schuylerville at 7:30 p.m. on February 22nd.
The Bears were assertive second half as they played superb in the win.
Albany Academy were strong out of the gate and darted in front to gain a hefty first quarter lead 15-2. They put together an imposing effort guarding the hoop and were in the drivers seat throughout the period.

The Bears played team basketball in the second frame turning a 13-point first quarter lead into a 24-point halftime supremacy.
The Bears maximized their play in the third quarter and outscored Cohoes by 15 points.

Stylianna Mantzouris guided the Bears with 12 points. Morgan Vien collected 11 points. Alex Leonard totaled 9 points.
