Green Tech out shot CBA 72-36 in to win back to back Class AA sectional crowns. The Soaring Eagles move on to regional action starting next week.
The Brothers lost ground 41-19 at the half.
The Soaring Eagles played team basketball in the second period turning a 4-point first quarter lead into a 22-point halftime edge.
Green Tech used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored CBA by 7 points.
The Soaring Eagles were on top at all frame finishes by margins of 4, 22, 29, & 36.
Green Tech had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Haisi Mayben, named tournament MVP, paced Green Tech with 17 points. Ramere Brown powered in 13 points. U'Mier Graham knocked down 13 points. Jasai King tallied 8 points. Anthony McCray contributed 8 points.
Green Tech manufactored 5 trifectas.
Haisi Mayben nailed 3 three-pointers.
Oreo Odutayo guided CBA with 10 points. Matt Sgambati netted 8 points. Kaelan Leak tallied 5 points. JJ Osinski sank 5 points.
