Johnstown edged Ravena 44-34 in a non-league affair. The Sir Bills rode the coattails of their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the third frame and at the final tick of the clock.
The Sir Bills concluded the tilt in great form as they eclipsed the Indians by 5-points at the cruicial moment of the contest.
The Indians bolted from opening whistle and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 13-4. Yet, The Sir Bills regrouped in the second quarter and outscored Ravena by 6 points.
The coronation of a winner was still unresolved as the teams went to the first half recess with Ravena grabbing a slight lead.
The Sir Bills took the game by storm coming out of the half, after being behind at the half, and snatched the lead 32-27 heading towards the final frame.
Hoyt was an offensive catalyst for the Sir Bills with 17 points. Yetto powered in 14 points. Fennessey poured in 6 points. Pedrick tallied 5 points.
