Northville pulled away from Salem 58-44 in a first-rate Section 2 hoop run-in. Nate Reidell paced the Falcons with 19 points.
Northville opened up a sizable halftime advantage of 32-13. The Falcons played as a complete unit in the second quarter turning a 5-point first quarter lead into a 19-point halftime edge.
The Falcons used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Salem by 8 points.
Salem played well in the final quarter but the clock wasn't on their side.
The Falcons were in command at every period ending horn by margins of 5, 19, 27, & 14.
Northville had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Nate Reidell led the Falcons with 19 points. Jason Ellsworth netted 16 points. T.J. Wadsworth dropped 13 points.
