Averill Park were dominant versus Schenectady 64-34 in a Capital Region basketball match up. The Warriors executed fantastic in the second half and collected the victory.
The Warriors had great energy right from the tip off and started the game in style racing to a hefty first quarter lead 15-9.
Averill Park dominated the first half and led 33-20. They played sound basketball in the second period turning a 6-point first quarter lead into a 13-point halftime bulge.
The Warriors used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Schenectady by 5 points.
Averill Park were in front at every period ending horn by margins of 6, 13, 18, & 30.
The Warriors placed three players in double figure scoring. Price, Zach led Averill Park with 16 points. Pascucci, Avery added 12 points. Lettko, Matt tallied 11 points. Hacker, Thomas sank 8 points. Re, Michael racked up 8 points.
Haggray paced the Patriots with 10 points. Sanders secured 7 points. Fisher poured in 6 points.
