Averill Park, NY

Averill Park slipped past Ballston Spa 51-44 in what turned out to be a terrific showdown of Capital Region basketball clubs. This meeting delivered the goods.

That was contradictory to the first half when Ballston Spa built a 21-13 lead at the midway point. The Scotties used a tenacious zone defense to build as much as a 13 point first half lead.
