South Glens Falls seized a down to the wire victory over Scotia 46-44. Ryan Fitzsimmons led the victors with 23 points.

South Glens Falls generated a game changing eight-minute recovery as they surpassed the Tartans 16-9 as time wound down. Clutch play down the stretch was the key to the victory.


The Tartans stormed out of the locker room and darted in front to gain a generous first quarter lead 13-5. They used a lock down mentality protecting their basket and played with great enthusiasm throughout the frame. Yet, South Glens Falls had a resurgence in the second quarter and outscored Scotia by 6 points.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half recess with Scotia grabbing a slight lead.

Ryan Fitzsimmons helped the cause for the Bulldogs with 23 points. Brady Smith splashed in 8 points. Brock Killian finished with 6 points.
The Bulldogs drained 7 baskets from behind the three point line.
Ryan Fitzsimmons nailed 4 three-pointers.
South Glens Falls shot outstanding from the charity stripe as they were efficient at 70%, 7 of 10.

Fermin Fabian led the Tartans with 10 points. Bollotti poured in 9 points. Bryce Geniti tallied 8 points. Aaron Corker sank 7 points.
Scotia drilled 4 trifectas.

The Tartans shot with sterling accuracy from the foul line as they showed out at 72.7%, 8 of 11.
