Mohonasen dropped a decision to the Sabres by 18 points, 66-48, in a Colonial Council encounter. Shane O'Dell led the victors with 34 points.
Schalmont ended the game with authority as they outscored the Mighty Warriors by 11-points at the pivotal point in the game.
Schalmont used an impressive first eight minutes and darted in front to gain a significant first quarter lead 15-8. They started the game on a 13-3 run and never trailed in the game.
The Sabres dominated the first half and led 34-17. Schalmont played well in the second quarter turning a 7-point first quarter lead into a 17-point halftime bulge.
The Mighty Warriors used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Schalmont by 10 points. They trimmed their halftime deficit of 17 to 7 heading into the 4th quarter. They eventually got as close as 5 points, a few minutes into the 4th quarter, but the Sabres closed the quarter on a 17-4 run to ice the game.
The Sabres were in control at every period ending horn by margins of 7, 17, 7, & 18.
