In spite of an excellent game by Keith Robinson of Hudson, the Bluehawks gave way to Mechanicville 69-68. Robinson scored a game high 36 points. Colin Richardson helped the cause for the Red Raiders with 27 points.
Colin Richardson made 1 of 2 free throws with 0:05 left to break a tie and help the Red Raiders grab the win.
Mechanicville held a modest 1-point edge heading into the fourth period. This encounter on the hardwood entertained the crowd through the third frame.
Mechanicville stormed out of the locker room and started the game in style racing to a hefty first quarter lead 20-14.
A winner was still unresolved as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Mechanicville nudging ahead.
