Averill Park fell to Shenendehowa by 21 points 56-35, on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball. Grady Ceccucci was the star on offense for the Plainsmen leading the way with 20 points.
Shenendehowa concluded the tilt in splendid fashion as they went past Averill Park by 8-points in the fourth quarter.
Shenendehowa held a modest 2-point edge at the start of the second quarter.
The Plainsmen played team basketball in the second stanza turning a 2-point first quarter lead into a 10-point halftime upper hand.
The Plainsmen were on top at all frame closures by separations of 2, 10, 13, & 21.
