Mechanicville won an instant classic versus Hoosick Falls 77-71 in a match-up between father (Hoosick Falls- Mike Lilac Jr.) and son (Mechanicville-Alex Lilac) coaches. Austin Rozowicz guided the Red Raiders with 23 points.
The Red Raiders had great energy right from the tip off and started the game in style racing to a first quarter lead 23-7. Yet, The Panthers regrouped in the second quarter and outscored Mechanicville by 6 points.

The Panthers improved upon early play in the second half but they fought to the end. After Hoosick Falls got down 26-7 early in the second quarter they came all the way back to cut the lead to two points, but Mechanicville dug in and hung on for the win.
