Despite an MVP caliber game from Adam Rice of Tamarac, the Bengals gave way to Mechanicville 60-54. Rice scored a game high 32 points. Colin Richardson led Mechanicville with 26 points.
Mechanicville held a small 1-point lead at the start of the fourth quarter. This test of two ultra competitive teams was setting up for a monumental ending through the third quarter.
Despite an MVP caliber game from Adam Rice of Tamarac, the Bengals gave way to Mechanicville 60-54. Rice scored a game high 32 points. Colin Richardson led Mechanicville with 26 points.
Mechanicville held a small 1-point lead at the start of the fourth quarter. This test of two ultra competitive teams was setting up for a monumental ending through the third quarter.
Mechanicville ended the game with clutch play as they eclipsed the Bengals by 5-points at the pivotal point in the game. Tamarac rallied from twelve points down in the fourth quarter but Mechanicville hung on for the home win.
The Red Raiders stormed out of the locker room and played excellent team basketball on their way to a decent first quarter lead 21-12. Yet, The Bengals recovered in the second quarter and outscored Mechanicville by 9 points.
A winner was still unresolved as the teams went to the first half breather with the game tied 31-31.
The Red Raiders exhibited great effort out of intermission, after the game being played to even across the board at the half, which helped them capture the lead 48-47 bearing down on the final quarter.
The Red Raiders had three shooting stars in double figure scoring. Colin Richardson led Mechanicville with 26 points. Cruz Goverski contributed 12 points. Jacob Eiseman bagged 12 points.
