Johnstown edged Cobleskill 56-47 in the consolation game of the Bill Higgins Tournament in Fonda. Ryan Hoyt spurred on the attack for the Sir Bills taking charge with 31 points.

Johnstown bolted from opening whistle and took hold of the ball game on their way to a decent first quarter lead 18-6. They relied on their solid defense and grabbed control of the frame. Yet, The Bulldogs bounced back in the second quarter and outscored Johnstown by 7 points.

The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half breather with Johnstown ahead by a small margin.

Johnstown capitalized on gritty play in the third quarter and outscored Cobleskill by 7 points.

The offenses were scorching the nets in the fourth quarter as they generated a high octane 43 points.

Johnstown were out in front at every quarter buzzers by separations of 12, 5, 12, & 9.

Ryan Hoyt helped the cause for Johnstown with 31 points. Danny Brown poured in 13 points.
Johnstown shot with exceptional form at the charity line as they were efficient at 85%, 17 of 20.

Cooper LaBarge guided Cobleskill with 20 points. Ethan Wade scored 11 points. Brody Becker knocked down 7 points.
The Bulldogs splashed 8 trey balls.
Cooper LaBarge nailed 6 three-pointers.
