Maple Hill nosed past Chatham 55-41 in a first-rate Patroon Conference hoop encounter.
The Wildcats used an impressive first eight minutes and darted in front to gain a nice first quarter lead 20-5. They put together a magnificent defensive effort and took control of the quarter.
The Panthers used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Maple Hill by 6 points.
The Wildcats were in front at every period ending horn by margins of 15, 27, 21, & 14.
Stacia Coyne led Maple Hill with 14 points. Lauryn Smith added 12 points. Abby Utter tallied 8 points.
Maple Hill splashed 7 trifectas.
Stacia Coyne made 3 three-pointers.
H. Taylor paced Chatham with 10 points. N. Daigle registered 9 points. P. Eaton netted 8 points. A. Hoag dropped 6 points.

Maple Hill jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 38-11. The Wildcats played solid as a rock in the second quarter turning a 15-point first quarter lead into a 27-point halftime edge.
The Panthers used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Maple Hill by 6 points.
Chatham clawed back in the final quarter but time was clearly a factor.
