South Glens Falls won an instant classic versus Amsterdam 63-61. Jack Gutowski helped the cause for the Bulldogs with 18 points.
South Glens Falls produced a last period push as they out-shot the Rams 19-11 as the final seconds ticked down.
Sparked by a great team effort in the second half South Glens Falls outscored the Rams 35-23 in the final sixteen minutes. They flipped the script of the first half when the Rams darted out to a 38-28 lead at the midway point.
Amsterdam had great energy right from the tip off and took hold of the ball game on their way to a generous first quarter lead 24-13.
South Glens Falls were benefitted by a robust performance in the third quarter and outscored Amsterdam by 4 points.
Jack Gutowski guided South Glens Falls with 18 points. Brady Smith collected 16 points. Brock Killian totaled 9 points. Ryan Fitzsimmons sank 8 points.
