Saratoga Catholic slipped past Tamarac 53-49 . Aidan Crowther starred on offense for the Saints going off for 21 points.
Saratoga Catholic manufactured a great group effort with a late push as they out-shot Tamarac 22-13 in the closing minutes. That burst enabled them to celebrate the outcome.
Saratoga Catholic used an impressive first eight minutes and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 15-9. Yet, The Bengals perked up in the second quarter and outscored Saratoga Catholic by 6 points.
The end result was still uncertain as the teams went to the first half breather with the game tied 24-24.
Tamarac utilized excellent teamwork coming out of the break, after a tight game at the half, which enabled them to commandeer the lead 36-31 bearing down on the last quarter.
Saratoga Catholic placed three players in double figure scoring. Aidan Crowther sparked the attack for Saratoga Catholic with 21 points. Ryan Gillis chipped in 10 points. Tyler Hicks scored 10 points. Ronan Rowe knocked down 9 points.
