Schenectady beat Albany 79-69. Andre Jackson and Jordin Anderson combined to score 36 points for the Patriots.
The offenses really got it rolling in the opening quarter as they combined for their highest scoring period of 52 points. But, Schenectady were strong out of the gate and rushed out to a sufficient first quarter lead 29-23.
Schenectady used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Albany by 7 points.
The Patriots were in control at each frame closures by splits of (+) 6, 6, 13, & 10.
Schenectady had a quartet of players in double figure scoring. Andre Jackson paced Schenectady with 18 points. Jordin Anderson poured in 18 points. Quy-Maine Haggray bagged 17 points. Mykai Anderson accumulated 11 points.
Albany placed four in double figure scoring. Daniel Covington was an offensive spark plug for the Falcons with 20 points. Sincere Allah scored 14 points. Darius Horne netted 12 points. Rasahn Johnson had 12 points.
