The Railroaders lost against the Flying Forts by 19 points, 50-31, in a hard fought Adirondack League hoop event .
Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for merely 11 points. Fort Edward held a modest 1-point edge heading into the second quarter.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Fort Edward gaining the upper hand. The Flying Forts played solid as a rock in the second period turning a 1-point first quarter lead into a 5-point halftime edge.
However, Fort Edward took advantage of a strong third quarter and led 35-20 headed to the fourth quarter. The Flying Forts used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Whitehall by 10 points.
Fort Edward were in control at every quarter buzzer by margins of 1, 5, 15, & 19.
James Bombard and Ryan Etu led the Flying Forts with 16 points. Logan Catone tallied 9 points.
Fort Edward connected on 5 hoops from deep.
Ryan Etu made 4 three-pointers.
Austin Barnao and Thomas Fish paced the Railroaders with 8 points. Ethan Patch collected 5 points. Tyler Shattuck had 4 points. Matt Gould popped in 4 points.
