Gloversville squeaked by Scotia 69-60 in what turned out to be a colossal heavyweight bout of Section 2 hoop clubs. Harmony Philo led the winners with 38 points. Gloversville rode the coattails of their consistent second half play as they led at the end of the third period and at the last buzzer.
The Lady Dragons held a small 3-point lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter. This duel was headed towards an epic finish through the third period. Gloversville finished the game with authority as they outscored Scotia by 6-points at the pivotal point in the game.
