Galway knocked off Middleburgh 58-26. Kiera Allen put the defense on notice for the Golden Eagles taking charge with 26 points.
The Golden Eagles darted in front to gain a first quarter lead 19-4.
Middleburgh fell behind by a score of 30-13 at the half.
The Golden Eagles were in control at each period closing whistle by plus 15, 17, 22, & 32.
Kiera Allen led Galway with 26 points. Abigail Gullett poured in 10 points. McKenna Kanaby dropped 8 points.
Payton Yung sparked the attack for Middleburgh with 14 points. Sarah Schafroth splashed in 7 points.
The Knights shot with superb accuracy from the free throw line as they achieved 70%, 7 of 10.
