OESJ took the victory vs. Hoosick Falls 60-47 in a Class C sectional tilt. Brooke Trumble was a serious problem on the offensive end for the Wolfpack popping in 27 points. OESJ relied on their dependable second half play as they led at the end of the third quarter and at the culminating tick of the clock. The Wolfpack move on to face top seeded Greenwich on 2/22.
Hoosick Falls started the game in style racing to a decent first quarter lead 17-11. Yet, OESJ had a resurgence in the second quarter and outscored Hoosick Falls by 9 points.
The coronation of a winner was still unresolved as the teams went to the first half intermission with OESJ ahead by a small margin.
The Wolfpack produced as a complete unit in the second quarter turning a 6-point first quarter deficit into a 3-point halftime upper hand.
OESJ placed three players in double figure scoring. Brooke Trumble helped the cause for the Wolfpack with 27 points. Sydney Hazzard netted 12 points. Taylor Hayes knocked down 10 points.
